Terms and Conditions for Lati Studio

Welcome to Lati Studio — a flexible video and podcast space in Vienna’s 3rd district!

​

By proceeding with a booking, using our facilities and equipment or entering the premises, you ("the Client") acknowledge and agree to the following legally binding terms and conditions. These govern all aspects of your interaction with Lati Studio, including rentals, services, equipment use, and conduct during your session.

1.Booking and Payment Terms

1.1 Bookings may be made online via our website, through WhatsApp, or directly at the studio.

1.2 After booking confirmation by a Lati Studio manager, your selected date is reserved for 48 hours.

1.3 Full payment must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation using our secure payment system or via an invoice provided.

1.4 Failure to remit payment within this time will automatically cancel the reservation without notice.

1.5 The Client agrees not to proceed with any services unless payment has been fully processed.

 

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

2.1 Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session qualify for a full refund.

2.2 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable. However, rescheduling is possible subject to availability.

2.3 Rescheduled sessions must take place within 10 calendar days from the original date.
 

3. Use of Studio Space (excerpt with additions)

3.1 Rental Duration: Your booking includes setup, filming, and cleanup. Clients must vacate the studio on time. A 10-minute grace period is allowed. Overtime is charged at €50 per 30-minute increment or part thereof.
3.2 Client Liability Insurance: It is strongly recommended that clients maintain their own liability insurance for their activities and personnel during the booking.

 

4. Studio Conduct Requirements

4.1 Shoes: Indoor shoes or shoe covers are required for extended stays.

4.2 Noise Levels: Please minimize noise to avoid disrupting other tenants in the building.

4.3 Pets: Pets are not permitted inside the premises under any circumstances.

4.4 Food & Drinks: Food and beverages are only allowed in designated lounge or break areas. Absolutely no eating or drinking near the filming or recording equipment.

4.5 Prohibited Substances and Acts: Smoking, consumption of alcohol, use of narcotics, open flames, and flammable substances are strictly forbidden.

4.6 Content Restrictions: Filming of pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise illegal content is prohibited.

4.7 Minors: Children under 18 must be supervised by a legal guardian at all times.

 

5. Video Surveillance Notice

5.1 Lati Studio (Lati Production GmbH)  uses video surveillance for security, service quality, and dispute resolution.

5.2 Surveillance data is handled in compliance with GDPR and used solely for internal purposes.

6. Client Content & Intellectual Property

6.1 Clients retain all rights and full ownership of content recorded during their session.

6.2 Lati Studio will not claim, reuse, or share your recordings unless prior written consent is provided by you.

6.3 You are solely responsible for securing all necessary licenses and permissions for any third-party content you use or publish.

 

6a. Use of Studio-Produced Content for Marketing 

Lati Studio reserves the right to photograph or film behind-the-scenes or other studio-related content during Client sessions. Such content may be used for promotional and marketing purposes

 

7. Delivery and File Handling

7.1 Any video or photo materials produced by Lati Studio staff will be delivered digitally within 48 to 72 hours.

7.2 Requests for redelivery or download access must be made within 30 days from the recording session.

7.3 All media files are permanently deleted after 30 days for confidentiality and storage efficiency.

7.4 The Client is responsible for promptly downloading and backing up their content.

 

8. Liability and Damages

8.1 Lati Studio is not liable for any personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged on-site.

8.2 Accidents or injuries incurred during studio use are the Client’s responsibility 

8.3 Lati Studio reserves the right to terminate any session without refund in the event of rule violations or unsafe conduct.

8a. Indemnity

1. The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lati Studio, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the Client’s use of the studio, equipment, or content produced therein, including claims made by third parties.
    

9. Privacy, Confidentiality & Data Protection

9.1 All personal data collected is used exclusively for booking, internal analytics, and service improvements.

9.2 Your media files and personal information will never be shared with third parties unless required by law or authorized by your consent.

9.3 We comply with all applicable GDPR regulations. By using our services, you agree to our processing of your data under these terms.

 

10. Legal Terms and Amendments

10.1 Lati Studio may update or amend this contract at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

10.2 All terms and policies are governed by Austrian law.

10.3 Any legal disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts located in Vienna, Austria.

10a. Force Majeure

Lati Studio shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under this agreement if such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, utility failures, or other unforeseen events.

By signing this agreement (digitally or on-site), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms outlined above.
